Overview:
IFM IG6084 is a high-precision inductive analog sensor with an IO-Link communication interface. IFM IG6084 is mainly used for non-contact distance measurement of metallic targets and converts displacement into a linear analog voltage signal (0-10V). Combining analog distance measurement + dual switching point output + IO-Link digital communication capabilities, IFM IG6084 can output a 0~10V linear analog signal for accurate measurement of metal distance, and can also set two independent switching thresholds for point triggering, used for automated production line position monitoring, component wear prediction, workstation position detection, and precision limit applications.

Smart sensing:
IFM IG6084 serves as a “smart sensor”, and the sensor is not only used for data transmission. Through IO-Link, users can remotely read key information such as sensor device status, switching cycle count, power-on count, operating hours, and internal temperature.
Dual switching points:
IFM IG6084 supports the “Multi-channel, two setpoint switching sensor” profile in the IO-Link specification. This means two independent switching points (setpoints) can be configured inside the sensor.
Teach function:
IFM IG6084 supports the “Teach Channel” profile of IO-Link. This allows remote teaching and setting of switching points through the IO-Link interface without manually adjusting physical knobs on the sensor.
