Bently Nevada 330525-00 Velomitor XA Piezo-velocity Sensor features a 316L stainless steel housing, complete with a waterproof connector and cable, and can be installed directly without an additional protective enclosure. When properly installed with an extension cable, the sensor meets IP65 / NEMA 4X requirements. However, the sensor measures casing vibration, on the premise that most of the rotor vibration energy can be transmitted to the bearing housing or machine casing and accurately picked up by the sensor. For some machines, measuring casing vibration alone may not be sufficient to ensure safety.

Vibration Velocity Measurement:330525-00 is based on piezoelectric technology and outputs a voltage signal proportional to vibration velocity. The sensor collects vibration signals from bearing housings and machine casings for unit protection and condition warning.


Predictive Maintenance:As a casing vibration measurement point, 330525-00 collects vibration signals transmitted from the rotor to the bearing housing or machine casing and sends the signals to the monitoring system.


Long-Distance Signal Transmission:330525-00 converts the high-impedance signal inside the sensor into a low-impedance voltage output locally, supporting a maximum cable length of 305 m (1,000 ft).
