Overview
GE Fanuc (Emerson) IC693MDL645 DC positive/negative logic input module supports two operating modes: positive logic and negative logic. It can be connected to field devices such as buttons, limit switches, and proximity switches. The field side of the IC693MDL645 module is electrically isolated from the logic side at 1500V. The panel LEDs provide feedback on the ON/OFF status of each input. The wiring diagram is printed on the outer side of the IC693MDL645, while the current parameters are recorded on the inner side. The blue edge color marking represents a low-voltage input module. During on-site maintenance, there is no need to refer to the manual; simply open the cover to check the wiring information.

Source / Sink Compatible (positive and negative logic share the same group of terminals): The IC693MDL645 has 16 points with a single common terminal group. The entire group can be switched between positive logic (PNP / source type) or negative logic (NPN / sink type), and the two logic types cannot be mixed on separate channels.
Status Indication: There are two rows of green LED indicators on the upper part of the IC693MDL645 module, with 8 LEDs in each row. A1-A8 correspond to channels 1-8, and B1-B8 correspond to channels 9-16, providing real-time indication of the ON/OFF status of each input point.
