📌Overview

Honeywell C7027A is an analog UV flame sensor used to detect the ultraviolet radiation emitted by combustion flames. The sensor must be used together with a Honeywell combustion controller to provide flame monitoring and protection for commercial and industrial burners. The product supports intermittent operation only, and the burner must complete at least one operating cycle within every 24-hour period. The C7027A sensing tube is hermetically sealed and suitable for standard sighting tubes. Multiple versions are available with different lead wire and conduit interface configurations. Under rated operating conditions, the UV sensing tube has a continuous service life of 40,000 hours. Aging of the sensing tube may result in flame detection failure.
