The Bently Nevada 990-05-70-01-00 vibration transmitter provides a standard proportional vibration signal to equipment control systems and is intended for OEM applications involving centrifugal air compressors, small pumps, motors, fans, and other equipment. This product is a two-wire loop-powered device that accepts input from the 3300 NSv eddy-current probe and its associated extension cable (available in 5 m and 7 m system length options). The transmitter conditions the signal into an appropriate peak-to-peak vibration amplitude engineering unit and outputs this value as a proportional industrial standard signal.
✅Features
The 990-05-70-01-00 is equipped with non-isolated PROX OUT and COM terminals, as well as a coaxial connector, providing dynamic vibration signal and gap voltage outputs.
The 990-05-70-01-00 features a Test Input pin, which can be connected to a function generator for quick verification of the loop output.
Independent zero and span potentiometers are provided below the transmitter label on the 990-05-70-01-00.
The 990-05-70-01-00 channel can be configured for velocity or acceleration mode, and supports direct amplitude, 1X amplitude and phase, and 2X amplitude and phase outputs.
⚠️Important Usage Notes
- The 990-05-70-01-00 vibration transmitter is only suitable for overall machine vibration trend monitoring; compared with professional online monitoring systems, its diagnostic capabilities are limited.
- The PROX OUT dynamic signal is a non-isolated signal; when connecting AC-powered oscilloscopes, analyzers, or other equipment, it is strongly recommended to use the 990/991 test adapter to provide isolation and signal inversion.
