Q:What are the differences between different thermal label face materials?

A:Ordinary thermal paper: Short shelf life, not scratch-proof, water or oil resistant; suitable for indoor short-term use such as courier and supermarket labels.Three-proof thermal paper: With protective coating, scratch / water / oil resistant, longer preservation time; ideal for warehousing, cold chain and industrial use.Synthetic thermal paper: Better toughness, tear-resistant and stable dimension; suitable for harsh environments and curved surfaces.

Q:Will thermal paper fade?

A:Yes. Thermal paper will definitely fade over time, which is very common.Reasons:1.Thermal paper develops color by thermal reaction. The coating is made of chemical substances instead of real ink.2.The printed content will gradually fade and finally turn blank under long-term storage, high temperature, sunlight exposure, humidity, or contact with alcohol, adhesive tape and plastic film.

Q:What is the operating temperature range of the labels?

A:Regular labels: -5℃ ～ +60℃;Low-temperature labels: -20℃ ～ +60℃;Ultra-low / high-temperature labels: -40℃ ～ +900℃ (varies by material).Recommended labeling temperature: ≥ +10℃.Otherwise, the label may not adhere firmly.

Q:How sticky is your glue? Will it come off at low temperatures or on rough surfaces?

A:We offer different grades of glue. The standard adhesive is suitable for corrugated boxes and plastic packaging; for cold chain transportation (low temperatures) or rough surfaces such as tires and wood, we can provide reinforced long-lasting glue, ensuring no edge lifting or detachment.

Q:How long is the validity period of the thermal labels? 

A:Standard thermal labels can typically be preserved for 18 to 36 months in an indoor environment. For logistics and outdoor conditions, we offer "three-proof" level (waterproof, oilproof, alcohol-proof/scraping-proof) products, which can effectively delay the fading caused by chemical reactions due to the environment.
