Overview

The Fluke 709H is a precision current loop calibrator with HART communication launched by Fluke. The calibrator has two main functions: standard loop calibration and intelligent HART transmitter commissioning. The accuracy can reach an industry-leading 0.01% reading accuracy. It solves the problems that traditional loop calibrators cannot debug intelligent HART instruments and the high cost of purchasing a separate handheld communicator.

Powered by 6 AAA batteries, the Fluke 709H is equipped with a portable protective holster and a backlit large display, allowing operation even in narrow and dim industrial cabinet environments. The calibrator has a built-in optional 250Ω matching resistor, natively supports HART protocol communication, and allows ordinary instrumentation personnel to complete intelligent transmitter reading and writing without a professional HART handheld communicator or laptop modem.

HART Communication Function

The Fluke 709H supports a subset of HART universal commands and common practice commands. In communicator mode, the calibrator can read basic device information, perform diagnostic tests, and carry out output trimming/calibration of most HART smart transmitters.

Calibration Record Capacity

The Fluke 709H supports up to 9,800 records or 99 independent sessions.

Valve Test Function

The Fluke 709H uses the % button to simulate and output specified mA values, performing step tests and travel checks on valve positioners, with adjustable step size and ramp time.
