Description
CP Titanium Grade 1 Plate General Information:

Titanium Grade 1 Plate is "unalloyed" titanium with the best ductility and cold formability. Has good mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance. Commercial CP grade pure titanium has high resistance to salt water and a variety of corrosive media (chlorine, nitric acid, etc.). Because titanium has a high chemical affinity, when it reacts with oxygen, it will form a stable and long-lasting protective oxide layer on the surface.

Grade 1 titanium stands out with its low specific gravity and excellent mechanical properties. Generally, it is most needed in application fields that have higher requirements for deformability. Titanium Grade 1 Plate are widely used in plate heat exchangers or tube plates, and can also be used for explosive coating of composite plates. We have a large inventory of grade 1 titanium sheet profiles, and we can provide tailor-made shapes and sizes according to your requirements.

Grade 1 titanium plate is industrial pure titanium plate. Grade 1 titanium plate has high mechanical properties, excellent stamping performance, and can be welded in various forms. The strength of the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the base material, and can be machined. Performance is good. Titanium pipes have high corrosion resistance to chlorides, sulfides and ammonia. The corrosion resistance of titanium in seawater is higher than that of aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and nickel-based alloys. Titanium is also highly resistant to water impact. Titanium alloys work in humid atmosphere and seawater media, and their corrosion resistance is much better than stainless steel; they are particularly resistant to pitting corrosion, acid corrosion, and stress corrosion; they also have excellent corrosion resistance to alkali, chloride, chlorine-containing organic matter, etc. . However, titanium has poor corrosion resistance to media containing reducing oxygen and chromium salts.
