Scientific name: Phyllanthus urinaria L.
An annual herbaceous plant, several inches high to many feet long. The stem is purplish red and has longitudinal edges. The leaves are alternate, arranged in a complex tile shape, forming two rows, very similar to the pinnate compound leaves, the leaves are rectangular, two or three long, all green, apex pointed or blunt, the base is round, few petioles. Summer and autumn have small white flowers along the stems and leaves, without pedicels. After flowering, small flat and round fruits, shaped like beads, are arranged under the false compound leaves.
