Potassium Fluoride

Potassium fluoride is colorless cubic crystal. It is soluble in water, soluble in hydrofluoric acid and liquid ammonia, slightly soluble in alcohol and acetone. The aqueous solution is alkaline and can corrode glass and porcelain. When heated to sublimation temperature, a little decomposition, but the activity of fused potassium fluoride is larger, can corrode refractory substances. 

Handling and storage：

closed operation, local exhaust. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear a headcover-type respirator, tape protective clothing, and latex gloves. Avoid dust. Avoid contact with acids.  When handling, light loading and unloading should be done to prevent damage to packaging and containers.  Equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment.

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The package is sealed. It should be stored separately from acids and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed. Storage areas should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaks.
