Usage:
Plastic pendulum impact testing machine is mainly used for the determination of impact toughness of non-metallic materials such as thermoplastic rigid plastics, thermoplastic composite materials, rubber, plastic pipes, glass fiber reinforced plastic and so on. The impact test of either simply supported beam or cantilever beam can be done. Automatic collection, storage, processing and micro-printing of test data.
Equipment composition: impact testing machine frame, impact pendulum, sample anvil, support and instrument impact system.
Equipment features: The use of electromagnetic brake/clutch control, can make the pendulum safely down.
The energy difference before and after the impact of the pendulum is used to measure the impact energy consumption of the sample, and the impact energy loss per unit area of the specimen is measured under the action of the impact force, that is, the impact toughness. Then the signal is generated by the high-speed load measuring sensor, which is quickly converted into A/D digital signal to the computer for data processing.
