Introduction to niobium crucible
Niobium crucibles are made of high-purity niobium metal, which has strong resistance to high temperature and deformation. According to different processing methods, niobium crucibles can be divided into four types: stamping, machining, sintering and welding. in:

Stamped niobium crucible
Stamping niobium crucible is produced by selecting high-quality niobium plate or niobium foil, using a suitable mold for single or multiple stamping, and finally producing qualified products. The process has moderate cost, high dimensional accuracy and relatively high mechanical properties, and is suitable for the production of small and medium-sized crucibles.

Processing niobium crucible
The machining of niobium crucibles is to select high-quality niobium rods, and finally produce qualified niobium crucibles through turning. The niobium crucible produced by this process has excellent mechanical properties, but a large amount of niobium material is wasted, and the price of niobium material is relatively expensive, so the cost of the niobium crucible is relatively high.

Sintered niobium crucible
The sintered niobium crucible is to select the appropriate niobium powder, press it by isostatic pressing technology, and then carry out vacuum high-temperature sintering to produce the niobium crucible blank, and then cooperate with mechanical processing to finally produce the required size. This process is suitable for the production of medium and large niobium crucibles.

Welded niobium crucible
Welded niobium crucible is rolled niobium plate or niobium foil of appropriate size, welded at the joint, welded a circular plate at the other end of the cylinder, and finally carried out proper surface and weld treatment, dimensional correction, and finally produced a qualified crucible . The production cost of this process is low, and it is suitable for industries that do not have strict requirements on the size of the crucible.

According to different shapes, niobium crucibles can be divided into round, conical, square, rectangular, cylindrical, boat-shaped, etc., and can be widely used in rare earth smelting, high-temperature sintered plates, chemical corrosion-resistant containers, sputtering evaporation containers, etc.
