Made in China Storage Tank Floating Suction Unit
WANFCY series of Floating Suction Unit are installed inside storage tanks, connected with outlet tube of tank shell, used to withdraw the product from the top surface of mixture in storage tanks, thereby reducing the possibility of contamination of stored product by water, particulate matter and chemical or mechanical impurity, to ensure quality of product in storage tank.
Floats generate buoyancy moment to drive the floating pipe to make axis movement around swivel joints. The stored product is sucked from the suction elbow, flows to the floating tube, swivel joint, outlet elbow, and then out of the tank, so as to realize floating suction apparatus withdrawal of the stored product.

- Swivel Joint, made of 9Cr18 austenitic stainless steel after quenching. Hardness can be up to 50~55HRC. It has high hardness, good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance.
- Floats, made of 2mm thickness, 304 or 316 stainless steel plate. All floats are airtight tested and the pressure is not less than 0.3MPa.
- Floating Tube, made of aluminum, stainless steel or cast steel. Lengths and sizes are dependent on tank size. Its force-bearing point is on the flange. To ensure the strength of the flange, cast flange is not allowed and forged flange with good mechanical property is the best choice.
- Suction Elbow is designed to face downwards in the allowed operating range, and set a baffle plate in the front of suction elbow to prevent a vortex from forming.
- All component parts of Floating Suction Apparatus can pass through a standard manhole into the tank. The whole assembly does not need welding unless limit chain mount welding base
