Summary Malaria is a serious parasitic disease characterized by fever, chills, and anemia and is caused by a parasite that is transmitted from one human to another by the bite of infected Anopheles mosquitoes. There are four kinds of malaria that can infect humans: Plasmodium falciparum,P.vivax,P.ovale,and P.malariae.In humans, the parasites migrate to the liver where they mature and release another form,the merozoites. The One-Step Malaria/helopyra pf(HRPⅡ)/pan(pLDH)Antigen Detection Test Device(Whole Blood) contains a membrane strip,which is pre-coated with two monoclonal antibodies as two separate lines dehydrogenase of Plasmodium species(P.falciparum,vivax,malariae,ovale).Conjugate pad is dispensed with monoclonal antibodies conjugated to colloidal gold,which are specific toP.falcparum histidine rich protein-2(Pf HRP-2)and Malaria pan(pLDH).

Directions for Use:

1. Add 5μl of whole blood into sample well（A）,the small well. 2. Add 2-3 drops of assay buffer into developer well(B). 3. Read the test result in 20 min.

Interpretation of Results:

Positive: In addition to a pink colored control (C) band,one distinct pink colored bands will also appear in the test (T1orT2) region. Please consult your physician to perform a much more detailed exam.

Negative: Only one colored band appears on the control (C) region. No apparent band on the test ( T1orT2) region. Invalid: A total absence of color in both regions is an indication of procedure error and/or the test reagent has been deteriorated.

(See previous illustration) POSITIVE: Only one colored band appears, in the control region (C). No colored band appears in the test region (T) for the drug in question. A positive result indicates that the drug concentration exceeds the detectable level. NEGATIVE: Two colored bands appear on the membrane. One band appears in the control region (C) and another band appears in the test region (T) for the drug in question. A negative result indicates that the drug concentration is below the detectable level. INVALID: Control band fails to appear. Results from any test which has not produced a control band at the specified read time must be discarded. Please review the procedure and repeat with a new test. If the problem persists, discontinue using the kit immediately and contact your local distributor.
