Ophiocordyceps Sinensis, also known as winter cordyceps Sinensis, is a complex of cordyceps fungus and bat moth larvae.Cordyceps sinensis has many functions. It is caused by the fungus Cordyceps sinensis parasitises the bat moth larvae in the alpine meadow
soil, making the larvae body rigid, and under the suitable conditions, the summer stiff insect head pulls out the long rod-shaped subsets.
Cordyceps sinensis is mainly produced in the alpine zone and snow mountain grassland of Qinghai, Xizang, Sichuan, Yunnan and Gansu provinces of China.
