Hafnium Uses and Applications
Electronic Materials
Since Hafnium easily emits electrons, it can be used as the cathode of an X-ray tube. In addition, alloys of Hafnium and Tungsten or Molybdenum are also used as electrodes for high-voltage discharge tubes.
