The Hcg Urine test is a rapid pregnancy test which you can easily carry out yourself. It detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (Hcg), which appears in urine very early during pregnancy. This test detects Hcg levels at a sensitvity of 25mIU/ml. Some women can get a positive result as early as 3-5 days before their missed period.

When to collect urine for the test:

Any urine specimen is appropriate for pregnancy testing but the first morning urine specimen is optimal because of its highest concentration of Hcg.

1. Remove the test from the sealed pouch.

2. Collect urine in a dry, clean container such as a plastic cup. 

3. Using the dropper, put 4 drops of urine in the circle and lay the test flat.

4. Read results in 5 minutes. Do not read results after more than 5 minutes.
