1. Product overview
The controller is suitable for the automatic control of charging and discharging process
in the off-grid solar system (independent system). The battery charging and discharging
process of the controller is optimized, which can prolong the life of the battery and
improve the performance of the system. The comprehensive function of self testing and
electronic protection function can avoid the installation errors and system failures which
can cause the controller damage.

3.Feature description
A. temperature sensor: the collection of the machine temperature, to prevent the
machine over temperature, over temperature protection and reduce current.
B. liquid crystal display: monitoring interface of system parameters.
C. combination keys: 2 or 4 combination keys to complete the control of all the operation
of the controller.
D.RS232 communication interface: connect remote PC monitoring software.
E. load terminal: connect load output.
F. battery terminal: connect battery.
G. photovoltaic array terminal: connecting photovoltaic array input.
H. external temperature sensor: collection of battery temperature and battery charging
temperature compensation.
4. Protection function
Short circuit of photovoltaic array
PV array input side short circuit, when the short circuit status cleared, the charge will
automatically continue.
Load overload
If the load current is more than 1.2 times of the current of the controller, the controller will
disconnect the load. When an overload occurs, the controller will reduce the load to
auto-recovery
Load short circuit
When the load short-circuit (more than 2 times the rated load current), the controller will
automatic protection, automatic recovery after the termination of short circuit.
Solar panel of reverse connection
Solar panel reverse,the controller will not be damaged, will continue to work normally
after the wiring error correction.
Battery polarity reverse protection
Battery polarity reverse , the controller will not be damaged,it just burn the fuse, replace
the fuse, will continue to work after the wiring error correction.
Internal temperature sensor damage or fault protection
Internal temperature sensor short circuit or damage, the controller will be charged or
discharged when the temperature is 25 degrees, in order to prevent over charging or over
l Overheat protection
Automatic protection is carried out by detecting whether the temperature of the heat sink
is more than 90. When the temperature of the heat sink exceeds 75 degree, the controller
automatically reduces the current by half, and the controller automatically restores the
normal charging and discharging operation when the temperature is reduced to 75.
l High voltage surge protection
The controller can only protect the high voltage surge of small energy, and in the frequent
lightning area, it is recommended to install the external lightning arrester.
