OPTIONAL FUNCTIONS:

Temperature compensation function: the controller can automatically adjust dump-load voltage according to different external environment temperature, which ensures charge battery efficiently.

Wind turbine low voltage charge function: the controller can charge battery when wind turbine is in low rotate speed status, which can make full use of low wind power.

RS communication function: RS232/RS485/RJ45/GPRS are optional communication ports.

Output dry-contact signal function: the controller can output dry-contact signal (e.g.: start diesel engine, gasoline engine signal).

SD card function: with SD card, controller can store system history data when it disconnected with PC.

Wind speed detection function: the controller can detect real-time wind speed; the real-time wind speed value will be displayed via monitoring software.

Wind turbine rotate speed detection function: the controller can detect real-time wind turbine rotate, the real-time wind turbine rotate speed value will be displayed via monitoring software.

Wind turbine micro-current charge function: when the wind turbine input DC voltage reach to the pre-set value, the controller will produce small current charge battery.

FAQ

Q1: What is the different between MPPT and PWM controller?

A: The PWM controller is in essence a switch that connects a solar array to a battery. The result is that the voltage of the array will be pulled down to near that of the battery;

The MPPT controller is more sophisticated (and more expensive): it will adjust its input voltage to harvest the maximum power from the solar array and then transform this power to supply the varying voltage requirement, of the battery plus load. 

Q2 : How many type of battery presets does that controller include ?

A :  4 types, which are AGM, GEL, WET & Calcium battery

Q3 : What is the charging stage of your controllers?

 A :  They are 5-stage Charging, which are soft start, bulk charging, absorption charge, equalization charge & float charge.

Q4: How can we recognize the MPPT and PWM controller?

 PWM

The PWM charge controller is a good low cost solution for small systems only, when solar cell temperature is moderate to high (between 45°C and 75°C).

MPPT

To fully exploit the potential of the MPPT controller, the array voltage should be substantially higher than the battery voltage. The MPPT controller is the solution of choice for higher power systems (because of the lowest overall system cost due to smaller cable cross sectional areas). The MPPT controller will also harvest substantially more power when the solar cell temperature is low (below 45°C), or very high (above 75°C), or when irradiance is very low.
