DYNAMIC BRAKE UNIT
It could decelerate the motor with high-speed in DC control system to reach the speed of cathead controlled by hand wheel. As long as the driller releases the foot-controller, through time lag, the dynamic braking will start automatically. Therefore it could spare time on tripping in or out.
In AC variable frequency control systom, it could automatically put itself into operation through the brake unit and the brake resistor when the motor is running, carry out dynamic brake, and make drawworks lowering with a stable and adjustable speed, drilling tools being hanged and stopped, rotary table protection for preventing it from reverse.
