Changshan contains the active component of huangchangshan alkali, which is called Changshan alkali for short. It is mainly composed of a, B and C, which are tautomers. It also contains huangchangshanding, 4-quinazolone, umbrella lactone, etc. The antipyretic bases and isoantipyretic bases isolated from roots and leaves are huangchangshan base B and huangchangshan base a respectively.
2.Function
1. Antimalarial effect: Changshan extract and alcohol extract have significant effect on P. gallinaceum. The antimalarial potency root of changshanye (Shuqi) is 5 times of that of changshanye, but it can't prevent recurrence.
2. Anti amoeba effect: changshanine B has an inhibitory effect on histolytic amoeba in vitro, which is twice as strong as imidine hydrochloride.
3. Antipyretic effect: Taking Changshan Decoction 2G / kg orally has antipyretic effect on artificially febrile rabbits, and its antipyretic effect is more significant than that of Bupleurum chinense.
4. Effect on cardiovascular system: Changshan base a, B and C have obvious hypotensive effect on anesthetized dogs. The degree and duration of hypotensive effect are related to the dose. It also has the effect of reducing the amplitude of cardiac contraction and increasing the volume of spleen and kidney.
