Cat's claw (Scientific name: Ranunculus ternatus Thunb.) Is an annual herb of the ranunculus family, Ranunculus. The clusters are mostly fleshy small roots, the tops are hard, shaped like cat's claws, and the stems are spread out, up to 20 cm high, branched, soft, mostly glabrous. Basal leaves have long stalks; leaf shape is variable, broad ovate to round kidney-shaped, stem leaves are sessile, leaves are smaller, lobes are linear, flowers are solitary stem apex and branch apex, sepals sparsely pilose; Petals yellow or later turned white, obovate, torus glabrous. The aggregate fruit is nearly spherical, and the achenes are ovoid. The flowering period is early, spring flowering in March, and fruiting from April to July.
