1、 Overview of brazed plate heat exchangers:
The brazing heat exchanger is made of several metal corrugated plates made of copper or nickel in a vacuum brazing furnace at high temperature. The entire equipment does not have sealing gaskets or tension bolts, making it smaller in size and more cost-effective. It can withstand higher temperatures and working pressures and is widely used in various industries.
Brazed plate heat exchanger is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchanger composed of a series of metal sheets with a certain ripple shape stacked together. Thin rectangular channels are formed between various plates for heat exchange through half plates. Compared with conventional shell and tube heat exchangers, it has a much higher heat transfer coefficient under the same flow resistance and pump power consumption, and there is a trend to replace shell and tube heat exchangers within its applicable range.
 
2、 Application scope and characteristics of brazed plate heat exchangers:
Application scope: This model of brazed plate heat exchanger is mainly used for refrigeration with high flow rates, evaporators, condensers, oil cooling, steam heating, etc.
Features: 1. Compact structure, easy installation, high heat transfer coefficient, low liquid retention, and thin plate (0.4mm).
2. Lightweight, only equivalent to 20% -30% of shell and tube heat exchangers.
3. The water consumption is low, and the brazed plate heat exchanger has a high heat transfer efficiency, which only requires 1/3 of the cooling water flow rate of the shell and tube heat exchanger under the same cooling condition.
4. Durable and able to withstand high temperatures (200 degrees) and high pressures (45 bar), eliminating corrosion issues and eliminating rubber gaskets.
5. Low fouling coefficient, high flow rate reduces fouling coefficient, thereby reducing cleaning frequency.
